The story describes the life, dedication, and humanitarian spirit of the great scientist Albert Szent‑Györgyi, who discovered Vitamin C and devoted his life to scientific research for the benefit of humanity.

While working in a laboratory, he discovered a strange substance from the adrenal glands of cattle and named it hexuronic acid, which was later identified as Vitamin C.

At that time, producing this substance was extremely difficult, and only a very small quantity could be made after great effort. Determined to find an easier source, he began testing many plants and foods.

One day, when his wife served him capsicum, he suddenly realized that he had never tested it. He immediately took the vegetable to his laboratory and discovered that it was a rich source of Vitamin C.

This discovery allowed scientists to produce large quantities of Vitamin C, which became very useful in treating diseases and improving health.

St. Georgy was known for his deep concentration and dedication to science. When he worked in the laboratory, he often forgot to eat or drink because he was completely absorbed in his experiments. His wife would leave food for him, but many times he did not even notice it. This shows how passionate he was about his work.

The life of St. Georgy teaches us that science, like spirituality, requires dedication, concentration, and a desire to serve humanity. His discoveries not only advanced science but also helped improve the health and lives of people around the world.
