I want to ask the whole world one simple question: how would you feel if you were put in a cage?Where thousands of people come every day, stare at you, laugh at you, and turn you into an object of entertainment?
Yes, you might get tasty food and all worldly comforts—but at the cost of your freedom.
I believe no conscious and sensible person would ever choose such a golden cage.
Then why do we put animals in zoos? By what right do we take away the freedom that nature has given them?
We trap birds in cages for our cheap entertainment. Only a merciless and cruel-hearted person would want such shallow amusement.
When you cage a bird that is meant to fly, you commit a grave sin. It is no different from putting an innocent human being behind bars.
I want to ask the judiciary of every nation: why don’t you punish those authorities who take away the freedom of these animals and birds?
Are your laws made only to protect humans? Do animals and birds not have the right to seek justice?
This question will haunt humanity until every captive bird and animal is set free.
