1. Persistence : To keep going, continue trying, or stay determined, even when things are difficult.

Examples:

(1) She persisted in her studies even after failing twice. If you want success, you must persist through obstacles.

Example : (1) After losing his job, he fell into despair.

2. She didn’t despair even in the darkest times.→ (She didn’t lose hope.)

4. Impediment : Anything that slows you down or makes it harder to reach your goal.

Example : (1) Fear can be a big impediment to success.

(2) He overcame his speech impediment and became a great speaker.
